OUTFIT – FOREVER NEW PETITE COLLECTION – LYDIA EYELET DETAIL PETITE MAXI DRESS

I haven’t come across any brand in India that has a range of clothes for petites and that is the reason i end up buying clothes from kids section. I was on cloud nine when forever new launched an entire collection exclusively for petites in India. As i was pregnant and was putting on weight every week, i had to wait for at least an year to buy any form of clothing except maternity.  I bought myself a maxi dress and a jumpsuit that I had been wanting since years, but was unable to find anything just right for my petite frame. I got these two outfits as a gift to myself on completing 3 months of motherhood.

The maxi I had just seen online and fell in love at the first sight. Soon after I bought these two outfits, the maxi since then has been put on a discount of 35% and yeah, it hurts!

Anyway, the floral print of the maxi on a pastel base looks very chic and elegant. The fabric is super soft and the maxi is lined till mid thigh. I love the drawstring style halter neck that fastens at the back and the gold-toned eyelet detailing that runs around the armhole and at the centre of the bodice. The maxi has a flowy skirt but i wish it was slightly more flowy.

I am mother and hence had no time to think about the accessories. If you have time, accessories it with a gold-toned watch along with a bracelet, a pair of hooped earrings, sunglasses, neutral-toned clutch and footwear and you’re good to go for a brunch with your bunch of girlies or even a date on a summer eve!
